Certified Professional Photographer - Houston Wedding Photographer

Currently, there are fewer than 2500 Certified Professional Photographers (CPP) in the world. The process to become a CPP is a challenging one. It is a two step process. You have to take a test and pass it. The test covers technical knowledge of photography skills. The second portion is you must submit a 20 image portfolio to be reviewed by a panel of judges. These judges look for sound lighting, proper exposure and excellent composition.

I am thrilled to announce that my portfolio has passed the judges on my first submission and I will be taking the exam in January. I hope to be one of the 10 CPP's in Houston at that time. Thanks to all of my fabulous clients who love the artistry in my work. Here is the portfolio I submitted.

Family Fun - Kingwood Photographer

This was a great shoot in Kingwood on Lake Houston - because it was a hot day we started in the house and then when the sun was going down we headed to the lake and got some wonderful photos... Kellie just had her youngest 8 weeks ago and she looks fabulous!

The Engagement session in Kingwood was great with Bea and David. It was super hot and David is from Portland, OR. They are an adorable couple and I look forward to shooting more of them when they make their home here in Kingwood.

Tara wanted a vintage look for her traditional wedding. So Hotel Icon was the perfect pre-wedding location for getting ready and her wedding day bridal portraits.

Tess and Andrew met at Rice University and I am honored to be photographing their wedding in October. We had a great time on this shoot at Discovery Green, the Penzoil Tower - which Tess' grandfather built and cruising around downtown.
